Description
The Linear Actuation Tool is an ROV operated tool for pushing or pulling action with extremely high force. With maximum pressure applied, the tool can push with a force more than 10 tonnes.
The linear actuation tool is a typical ROV tool weight, making it easy to position and move by the ROV. It consist of a hydraulic cylinder, powered through a hot stab from the ROV. Pilot operated check valves (counterbalance valves) are integrated in the hydraulic loop to maintain the position of the cylinder. Pressure relief valves are also integrated to prevent over-pressure.
The interface and the output force and stroke can be defined per customer specification. More information on bespoke engineering here.
