The Subsea Linear electric actuator is used for linear applications, new build or replacing hydraulic cylinders. It provides a high force and high accuracy, ideal for subsea robotics and automation.
Description
The linear actuator provides a high force with small form factor. The motor contains hall sensors that can be used for calibration and provides a position feedback in operation.
The linear screw is self-locking and maintains position even when power is lost to the motor. An additional motor drive is required for control of the motor and sensor feedback.
